Brands have reacted to the success of the Olympics by devising novel methods to reward the victors.

For example, when Olympic Silver medalist Mirabai Chanu told the media that she wanted to celebrate her achievement with a pizza, a Domino's store in Manipur promptly dispatched a team to deliver pizzas to Mirabai Chanu. The event was highly published on social media.

Mr Chopra, 23, set a new personal best of 87.58 metres, beating India's previous high. He is the first Indian athlete to win gold in both the Commonwealth Games and the Asian Games in the javelin throw. He won the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia, as well as the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia.
